This center explains the legal framework built into Vavvo. Local law can give you additional rights or impose additional obligations that cannot be waived by Vavvo’s terms.

The final Vavvo contracting entity, registered business address and any locally required representative details must still be published before broad public launch. Vavvo support and privacy requests can already be sent to hello@vavvoapp.com. Production market controls fail closed while the remaining global prerequisites are incomplete.

Compliance controls built into the marketplace
Versioned acceptance
Vavvo records the exact Terms, Privacy and host-disclosure version accepted by each member. Material updates can require renewed acceptance.
Private host vs business/trader
Hosts must declare how they are acting. Business/trader hosts provide traceability information and self-certify that their offerings comply with applicable law.
Country launch gate
A country is not live merely because a listing exists. Production checkout requires financial/tax configuration and an approved legal-compliance record.
Data minimisation
Payment-card data stays with the payment provider. Raw government-ID/selfie evidence stays with the verification provider. Vavvo stores only the minimum marketplace records required.
Rights & deletion
Members can access/export account data, correct profile data, change privacy preferences and request account deletion, subject to lawful retention exceptions.
Audit & legal holds
Sensitive marketplace actions are server mediated and auditable. Lawful preservation can override deletion only for the period and purpose that requires it.
Consumer and marketplace rights
Whether a host is acting privately or as a business/trader can affect which consumer rules apply to the host–guest contract. Vavvo identifies that status on listing pages. Nothing in Vavvo’s terms limits rights that applicable law says cannot be limited.
Global expansion
Vavvo evaluates each launch market separately for privacy, consumer/marketplace law, payment and payout legality, tax/platform reporting, identity/biometrics, international data transfers, local representation and accessibility.
