These terms govern your use of Vavvo. By creating an account, listing a space or making a booking, you agree to them.
1. The marketplace
Vavvo is a platform that connects people who have spaces to rent (hosts) with people who want to book them by the hour or day (guests). Vavvo is not a party to the rental agreement between host and guest and does not own, manage or control any listed space.
2. Accounts
You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
3. Listings
Hosts must have the right to rent the space, describe it truthfully, keep availability accurate and comply with local laws, permits and safety requirements. Every listing is reviewed before publication and may be paused or removed at our discretion.
4. Bookings & payments
Prices are set by hosts. Guests pay the listed venue charge, any cleaning fee, a guest service fee and applicable taxes, shown in full before payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. Hosts receive their payout, less the platform commission, after the booking is completed. Some listings require a refundable security deposit, held at checkout and released after the booking unless the host reports damage.
5. Cancellations & refunds
Each listing carries a cancellation policy (flexible, moderate or strict) that determines the refund a guest receives when cancelling. Host-initiated cancellations are refunded in full. Security deposits are always returned on cancellation. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
6. Security deposits & damage
Where a deposit applies, hosts may claim all or part of it within 72 hours of the booking ending to cover documented damage or rule violations. Guests are notified of any claim and may dispute it through support.
7. Conduct
Guests must respect house rules, capacity limits and the booked time window. Hosts must provide the space as described. Harassment, discrimination, illegal activity and circumventing platform payments are prohibited.
8. Reviews
Guests may review spaces after a completed booking and hosts may review guests. Reviews must be honest and respectful; we may remove content that violates these terms.
9. Liability
Vavvo provides the platform "as is" and, to the extent permitted by law, is not liable for the condition of any space, the conduct of users, or losses arising from a rental. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
